OLIVE ORCHARDS AND AWARD WINNING OIL
Beltane has been producing olive oil since 1990. Our two oilve orchards consist primarily of Mission, Sevillano, Manzanillo, Lucca, Arbequino, Frantoio and Piqual. Olive trees, including several planted by early settlers, are sprinked throughout the property. The olives are organically farmed and hand-harvested in late November or early December. They are picked when 30% of the fruit turns black and the remaning colors range from purple to green. Our oil is cold pressed at The Olive Press located at Jacuzzi Winery on Highway 121. The oil is used in the kitchen, where its available available for taste and sale.
